Who we are

CRP Construction Academy is a South Yorkshire training provider staffed by experienced trainers with real construction site experience. Between them they have issued the permits, run the gangs, moved the plant and had the conversation with the operative who thinks the rule is nonsense.

That is the difference. The examples on our courses come off live jobs rather than a slide library, the answers hold up when somebody pushes back, and nothing is in the course because it filled a gap in the timings.

Delivery is structured and assessed properly, with records issued for every delegate, so the training stands up when your client or principal contractor asks to see the evidence.

How we work

• Small groups. Practical sessions stay small enough that everyone gets watched and corrected.
• Half-day formats. Most courses run in half a day, so you lose a morning, not a week.
• We come to you. Most of our training is delivered on client sites. For CAT & Genny, manual handling and abrasive wheels especially, training on your own kit and ground is worth far more than a classroom.
• HSE-referenced content. We name the guidance and separate law from good practice, so nobody leaves with a myth they will repeat for ten years.
• Straight talking. If a course you have been told you need is not actually required, we will tell you.

Where we are going

The plan is a dedicated training centre in South Yorkshire alongside the on-site work, a growing team of trainers and a wider course library — including recognised scheme accreditation so certificates carry card value on any site. The five courses running now are the foundation, and the document library is the second half of the business.

We would rather grow that properly than claim accreditation we do not yet hold. What you see on this site is what we can actually deliver today.
