Terms & booking conditions
These terms apply to training booked with, and digital products bought from, CRP Construction Academy Limited. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.
1. Training bookings
A place on an open course is confirmed once payment is received. On-site closed courses are confirmed once a written quote is accepted and a date agreed in writing.
2. Cancellations and transfers — open courses
- More than 7 days before the course: free transfer to another date, or a full refund.
- 3 to 7 days before: free transfer to another date. Refunds are not available inside this window.
- Less than 3 days before, or non-attendance: the full fee remains payable.
- You may substitute a different delegate at any time up to the start of the course at no cost.
3. Cancellations — on-site closed courses
Cancellation more than 14 days before the agreed date incurs no charge. Between 7 and 14 days, 50% of the agreed fee is payable. Inside 7 days, the full fee is payable, as the date cannot realistically be resold.
4. Cancellation by us
If we have to cancel or move a course — including for reasons outside our control such as weather, illness or site access — you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Our liability is limited to the course fee paid; we are not liable for travel, accommodation or lost working time.
5. Minimum numbers
Open courses require a minimum number of delegates to run. If a date does not reach that minimum we will tell you at least 3 days beforehand and offer a transfer or a full refund.
6. Delegate requirements
Delegates must arrive on time, be fit to train, and bring appropriate PPE where the course includes a practical element. We reserve the right to refuse or remove a delegate who is unfit to train or whose behaviour creates a risk to others; no refund is due in those circumstances.
7. Certification
Delegates who attend in full and pass the assessment receive a CRP Construction Academy certificate of training. This is an in-house record of training for your training matrix. We do not currently issue certification under a recognised third-party accreditation scheme, and we do not claim to. If a specific scheme card is required by your client or principal contractor, please confirm this with us before booking.
8. Digital products (document packs)
- Files are delivered by download link immediately after purchase.
- Purchase grants a non-exclusive licence to use the documents within your own business, on unlimited sites and projects.
- You may not resell, sub-licence, share or redistribute the documents, in original or modified form, as a product.
- As instant-download digital goods, packs are non-refundable once the download has been accessed. If a file is faulty or missing, contact us and we will replace it.
9. Use of documents
Our document packs are professionally written templates and systems. They are not a substitute for a competent person. Risk assessments, method statements, permits and COSHH assessments must be completed, checked and issued by someone competent with knowledge of the specific work and site. Responsibility for the completed documents rests with the user.
10. Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store card details. Invoiced work is payable within 30 days of invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any booking or purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
