Vehicle Marshal Training
The person walking the plant in is the last line of defence.
What this course is
Vehicles and plant moving on site remain one of the biggest killers in construction. A vehicle marshal who knows what they are doing controls that risk. One who has just been handed a hi-vis and told to "watch him back" becomes part of it.
Site transport incidents are consistently among the highest causes of fatal and major injuries in construction. Segregation, safe systems and a competent marshal are the controls that actually work.

Common questions
Is this the same as a banksman course?
Yes — banksman, traffic marshal and vehicle marshal all describe the same role. We use "vehicle marshal" because it is the term most main contractors now use.
Can it be combined with another course?
It pairs well with Manual Handling or Abrasive Wheels to make a full training day. Ask us for a combined day rate.
Do you cover plant-specific marshalling?
We cover the principles for all plant, and on your site we tailor the practical to the machines you actually run.
